1. How much is the mobi.eye camera?
There are 5 packages to choose from. Click here for the full table. For each package, the 2nd camera is 50% less. (Purchases must be in the same transaction)
2. I don’t have e-speed. Can I subscribe to mobi.eye?
Customers must have e-speed in order to enjoy mobi.eye. We have created an e-speed package especially for the mobi.eye customers. To enjoy this package, purchase the mobi.eye camera from any b•mobile counter and produce the mobi.eye receipt at the e-speed counters for verification.
3. What does this special e-speed package for mobi.eye offer?
The special e-speed package offers FREE registration and a FREE modem (a total savings of $150) for new espeed customers when they present their mobi.eye receipt as proof of purchase. (This Offer is not valid for existing customers)
4. What documents I need to bring for subscription?
Just bring over your valid IC or passport, and any bills or forwarding letters as proof of address.
5. Where can I register for mobi.eye and e-speed?
For mobi.eye, you may approach any of our counters. For e-speed, just go over to any e-speed counters.
10. How many cameras can I buy?
Each subscriber can purchase up to 10 mobi.eye cameras. Each mobi.eye package consists of 2 cameras.
11. Can my family member/friends view the camera?
Yes, you will need to fill in a form to register your family/friends and their b•mobile numbers, declaring their relationship to you and that you agree to allow them to access your mobi.eye camera. The people listed in the form will have to come over to the b•mobile counters to register for their monthly subscription service.
12. How many people can view the cameras I registered?
There is no limit to how many people you wish to view your cameras as long as they are registered in your viewing list and they subscribe to the mobi.eye monthly service.
13. Does the mobi.eye camera have audio functions?
Unfortunately at the moment there is no audio function.
14. ! have more than 1 camera. Can I view all cameras all at once?
The phone will be able to support only viewing for one camera at one time. After signing in, the page will show the list of cameras that you have set up.
15. How can I switch from one camera to another?
Go back to the page where the cameras are listed and select the camera you wish to view.
16. Can somebody else register to view the same camera?
Yes, as long as they are in your list of authorised viewers. If the person is not on your list, we will call you for verification and request you visit us at a later date to sign the permission form.
17. At any one time, how many viewers can access the camera?
There is no restriction on the number of viewers.
18. How do I install the camera?
Study and follow the quick step user guide for the mobi.eye camera which provides the necessary information for you to setup the camera yourself.
19. Is there a warranty for the camera?
The camera comes with 12 months warranty. The camera must not be tampered with, modified or have attempted repairs. For total replacement of defective cameras, the customer must return the camera as sold within 2 weeks of the date of purchase together with the original receipt.
20. Where do I bring the faulty camera for repair and servicing?
Please send to any b•mobile branches nearest to you. As the faulty sets will be forwarded to our headquarters, please allow us up till 2 weeks to accommodate your repairs.
21. When can I view the camera once I complete registration?
Once your e-speed is active and ready to use, you will need to set up the camera configuration. Then enter the b•world portal, select the mobi.eye banner or click on the Live Cam icon. Enter your password to view. (Please remember to change the default password).
22. How do I view the camera?
Enter the b•world portal and select the mobi.eye banner or click on the Live Cam icon.
23. Can I change the name of the cameras?
Yes. The name change can be made on the mobi.eye website or the b•world portal on the login page.
24. I lost/forgot my password. What do I have to do?
Please approach any of the b•mobile branches and fill in a form for to obtain a new password. Charges may be levied for obtaining new password
25. What happens, if the primary or secondary user changes their b.mobile phone number will they still be able to view the camera?
Viewing access will be denied on the new numbers. You will need to approach any b•mobile branch to cancel the subscription on the previous phone number and register the new number to mobi.eye.
26. I am the primary user and I wish to cancel my mobi.eye subscription. What will happen to my secondary users?
Please approach any of our branches to cancel your subscription. However, your secondary viewers will still be able to view your cameras.
27. If I wish to terminate viewing access of my secondary viewers, what do I have to do?
You will need to come into any of our branches to fill in a termination request form for your secondary viewers.
28. How can I pay for my subscription registration and cameras?
You can pay by cash or credit card. We accept most major credit cards.
29. Can I use 0% instalment facilities to purchase the camera?
We have 0% instalments for Standard Chartered and Baiduri card holders. For Baiduri credit card holders who have reached their credit limit, we can arrange for extension of credit up to $250 with instant approval. |
